Origin Farm Trip 2025 - August (Kerinchi, Indonesia)

Date: 10th - 14th August 2025

Venue: Kerinchi, Indonesia

Nestled along the edge of Mount Kerinci, the highest volcano in Sumatra, Kerinchi (also spelled Kerinci) is quickly rising as one of Indonesia’s most exciting specialty coffee regions. Located within the lush, biodiverse Kerinci Seblat National Park, this highland area benefits from rich volcanic soil, high altitudes (1,200–1,800 masl), and a cool microclimate—ideal conditions for producing high-quality Arabica beans.

What makes Kerinchi truly unique is its community-driven approach to coffee. Over the past decade, smallholder farmers have embraced sustainable farming practices, improved post-harvest processing, and direct trade relationships, leading to international recognition and growing demand from specialty roasters worldwide.

Expect vibrant, complex flavor profiles ranging from citrusy and floral to sweet tropical fruit and syrupy body—a reflection of Kerinchi’s dedication to quality and innovation.

Registration Period: 16th June - 31st July 2025
